Change Housing is growing and is seeking a Repairs Manager to elevate their standards. The candidate should have experience in Social Housing R&M and will be responsible for managing repairs operations and compliance across Manchester's housing stock. The Repairs Manager will oversee responsive repairs and voids, manage external contractors, and ensure safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and quality of work.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily repairs & voids operations
  2. Manage contractor and customer relationships
  3. Lead and support the repairs team to meet service standards
  4. Ensure compliance with health & safety and legal requirements
  5. Monitor budgets, schedules, and project outcomes
  6. Report to the Head of Assets
The Successful Candidate
  • Proven experience in a similar role within Social Housing
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and compliance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and contractor performance effectively
  • A customer-first approach to service delivery
