Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking a Manager in our CFO Solutions team to lead the delivery of finance services built on Xero and automation for a varied client portfolio. You will manage client work, plan staffing, and drive the ongoing development of the Xero offering while coaching and developing your team.

You will lead on client relationships, review financial statements, VAT returns, and support technical quality across engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering outsourced accounting or finance services, including management accounts and VAT.
• Experience reviewing technical work and managing associated risks.
• Experience managing and developing a team, including resourcing and scheduling.
• Experience working with Xero and related apps or willingness to lead on them.

Responsabilités

• Lead on client work and manage a portfolio of clients with varying complexity.
• Plan and coordinate client work, including staffing, to meet objectives on time and budget.
• Set up complex clients and guide the team where needed.
• Understand clients' business and act as a key contact; handle client queries and supplier payments.
• Review management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns and related files.
• Lead conversations with clients about improvements and drive technical quality.
