You will be responsible for tasks involving a caseload of participants in a correctional setting, starting with initial engagement and evaluation. The goal is to provide motivational support to help participants stay engaged during their sentence through group work and one-on-one interventions, aiding their obstacles' overcoming and community reintegration.
Our ideal candidate will have lived-in custodial experience, which would benefit engagement due to understanding and relatability. Alternatively, experience in probation, social care, or within the criminal justice sector is also advantageous. We value confidence and the ability to work comfortably with diverse backgrounds and circumstances, coaching and mentoring participants effectively.
