Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton is seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics engineer to lead advanced CFD studies and support the industrialisation of in-house CFD capabilities. You will handle geometry preparation, meshing, simulations and post-processing, while developing Python scripts and collaborating with multi-national teams.

The role requires strong CFD expertise (RANS/URANS/LES), experience with ANSA and CODA CFD tools, and proficiency in Python or C++.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial CFD experience in aerodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of ANSA Meshing and CODA CFD chain.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ and OO programming.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced CFD studies (RANS/URANS/LES) on aircraft configurations.
• Prepare geometry, generate meshes, run simulations, and post-process results.
• Develop, maintain and debug Python scripts for CFD tools.
• Collaborate with European and Indian teams and external partners.
