Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton seeks a Computational Fluid Dynamics engineer (m/f/d) with wide CFD experience to perform advanced internal and external flow studies on complex aircraft configurations, including RANS, URANS and LES, as well as mesh generation and post-processing.

You will install and maintain CFD tools, develop Python or C++ scripts, and work with trans-national teams across Europe and India to industrialise CFD capabilities and support end-users in the end-to-end CFD

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics methods in aerodynamics, transonic flows and propeller configurations.
• Strong knowledge of CODA CFD chain use and ANSA Meshing tool.
• Mastering advanced object-oriented languages like Python or C++.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced internal and external flow studies (RANS, URANS, LES) on complex aircraft configurations including meshing and post-processing.
• Install/deploy/maintain CFD tools and develop/debug Python scripts for automation.
• Collaborate with transnational teams (Europe and India) and support end-users across the CFD process.
