Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Bath is seeking an Aerodynamic Performance Engineer to join the Aircraft Aerodynamics team. You will contribute to defining the next generation of Airbus aircraft through advanced modelling, data analysis and collaboration with Future Projects and R&D teams.

You will work on CFD modelling, wind tunnel data, and flight test results, developing aerodynamic performance models that inform design decisions and ensure safety, efficiency and sustainability across programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Model aerodynamic behavior using simulations and data.
• Define, attend and analyse wind tunnel results at leading facilities.
• Define, attend and analyse flight test results and real-time decisions.
• Develop aerodynamic performance models from multiple data sources.
• Ensure design intent through robust modelling of new technologies.
