Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a CFD engineer to lead advanced simulations, validate results against data, and guide AI-driven analytical work. You will implement mesh strategies, select turbulence models, and ensure rigorous verification and validation across multiphysics problems.

The role requires strong English communication, experience with industry standards, and the ability to collaborate remotely within a distributed network of experts.

Qualifications

• Strong experience conducting and validating CFD simulations.
• Proficient in mesh generation, solver setup, turbulence modeling and post-processing.
• Knowledge of Navier-Stokes equations and turbulence models (RANS, LES, DES).
• Ability to compare CFD results with experimental or analytical data.
• Familiarity with ASME V&V 20, AIAA CFD verification & validation, ITTC.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and solve advanced CFD challenges including mesh and turbulence model choices.
• Review AI-generated technical responses for accuracy and integrity.
• Apply engineering judgment to simulate scenarios and fluid-dynamics questions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CFD problems, ensuring convergence and validity.
• Contribute domain expertise to improve AI reasoning in CFD tasks.
• Document feedback with clear explanations to support learning.
• Collaborate remotely with a distributed team of experts.
