Job summary

BASEC, part of the Kiwa UK Group, is seeking a Certification Executive to join our Certification team in Milton Keynes on a 6-month fixed term contract. This hybrid role coordinates audit and certification activities to deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers.

You will schedule audit visits, manage records through setup to certification, prepare certificates, coordinate testing samples with customers and laboratories, and support accreditation audits.

Qualifications

• Experience/knowledge of Management Systems Certification and/or Product Testing is desirable.
• Experience/knowledge of ISO 17021 and/or ISO 17065 accreditation standards is desirable.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve set targets.
• Proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule customer audit visits and arrange travel, visas, accommodation and transport.
• Manage customer audit records through setup, review and certification process.
• Prepare and issue certificates and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate testing sample selections with customers and laboratories to ensure timely and compliant processes.
• Issue passed routine test reports to customers.
• Maintain certification statuses (standby, suspension, withdrawal) and handle customer concession requests.
• Liaise with auditors to optimise scheduling, travel, and service delivery.
• Produce reports and other material as directed by the line manager.
• Support accreditation and regulatory body audits.
