KPI Education is seeking a Centre Manager to lead the Stoke-on-Trent provision, ensuring outstanding operational performance and a safe, engaging environment for young people.

You will manage day-to-day operations, develop staff, oversee timetabling and programme delivery, and build strong relationships with students, families and external partners to drive positive educational outcomes in an alternative provision setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in schools, SEN, SEMH, Alternative Provision, PRUs, or other education-focused environments.

Centre Manager – Alternative Education Provision

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £30,420 – £33,738.80 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

KPI Education is working with a growing education organisation to recruit a dedicated and ambitious Centre Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of its Stoke-on-Trent provision.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pastoral Leader, Behaviour Manager, SEN professional, Alternative Provision practitioner, Teacher or existing Centre Manager looking for increased responsibility.

Centre Manager – Key Information
  • £30,420 – £33,738.80 per annum

  • Full-time, permanent position

  • Stoke-on-Trent

  • Leadership and operational responsibility

  • Work closely with staff, students, families and external stakeholders

  • Oversee the successful delivery of programmes and interventions

The Role

As Centre Manager, you will take ownership of the smooth and effective running of the provision.

You will lead, motivate and support the centre team, ensuring consistently high standards while creating a positive, structured and engaging environment for young people.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the centre's day-to-day operations

  • Leading and developing staff

  • Overseeing timetabling, resources and programme delivery

  • Supporting staff performance and professional development

  • Ensuring health, safety and organisational policies are followed

  • Building strong relationships with students, families and stakeholders

  • Helping shape the continued growth and success of the centre

Who Are We Looking For?

KPI Education would particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in schools, SEN, SEMH, Alternative Provision, PRUs, youth services or other education-focused environments.

You should be an organised and confident leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.

Most importantly, you will understand that successful alternative education requires high expectations, consistency, strong relationships and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people.
