Cambridge University Press & Assessment seeks a Centre Monitoring Manager to lead a team of Compliance Officers in risk assessing centres and coordinating inspections for Cambridge International exams. The role combines on-site and remote collaboration, with a 6-month fixed-term contract and hybrid working expectations.

You will oversee data-driven quality assurance activities, support centre improvements, and ensure adherence to regulations, while developing staff and processes across global

• Experience in effectively managing people and processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Accurate writing and proofreading with excellent English.
• Analytical with creative problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in risk assessment in high-stakes environments.
• Proficient with MS Office and databases; quick to learn new systems.
• Excellent data handling and analysis capabilities.

Mansioni

• Lead the Compliance Officers and guide the team through established processes, while exploring new ways to support centres.
• Risk assess centres and organise inspections, including video-based reviews and paper-based reviews.
• Oversee information and evidence collection from internal and external stakeholders; ensure key data is gathered efficiently.
• Evaluate facts to decide additional support and identify risks; discuss with stakeholders.
• Make and communicate fair decisions, including action plans and potential corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to the team to ensure exams are administered in line with regulations.
• Continuously improve processes, procedures and external guidelines.
• Sit on Stage One appeal panels for the Compliance team.
• Manage a budget of £650k for the Inspections role.
