Job summary

Oyster in Central London is seeking an experienced Building Manager to own the day-to-day running of a busy commercial property. You will be the on-site point of contact, ensuring the building runs smoothly, is compliant, and delivers a great occupier experience.

Reporting to the property management team, you will manage contractors, supervise maintenance, enforce health and safety standards, build strong relationships with occupiers and stakeholders, and identify opportunities to raise

Qualifications

• Previous Building or Facilities Management experience within commercial property.
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of building operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Confident, organised and comfortable taking ownership.
• IOSH or NEBOSH would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the building.
• Managing contractors and suppliers across cleaning, security, maintenance and other services.
• Building strong relationships with occupiers, clients and key stakeholders.
• Ensuring health & safety and statutory compliance standards are maintained.
• Monitoring maintenance and operational issues through to resolution.
• Supporting wider property and facilities management requirements.
• Maintaining high standards across the building and identifying areas for improvement.
