Job summary

Qualifications

• Higher specialist training in Morbid Anatomy, Histopathology and Cytopathology.
• Full and specialist registration with the GMC (or eligible for registration within six months).
• Experience in surgical pathology and cytopathology; autopsy work considered valuable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cellular pathology and non-gynaecology cytology services on a sessional basis.
• Sub-specialisation and MDT attendance determined after appointment in discussion with peers.
• Direct clinical activity in cellular pathology reporting and MDT presentations; contribute to service development.
