Job summary

ScottishPower, based in the United Kingdom, is seeking a Construction Manager to support CDM compliance across on-site construction activities. The role reports to the Project Construction Manager ensuring regulatory alignment under CDM Regulations 2015.

The suitable candidate will oversee CDM compliance, coordinate contractor activities, audits, inspections and governance to deliver safe, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and Principal Contractor duties.
• Experience leading compliance audits/inspections across multi-contractor environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the PCM in meeting Principal Contractor responsibilities and CDM compliance.
• Lead contractor compliance monitoring, CDM audits, inspections and assurance reviews.
• Provide specialist CDM guidance and maintain governance records.
