Job summary

ScottishPower in Glasgow is seeking a Contract Manager to lead end-to-end management of high-value service contracts. You will define contracting strategies, oversee tenders, negotiations and ensure compliant execution to support operational objectives.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and excellent stakeholder management, with experience in heavy engineering and onshore/offshore wind projects preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-value, complex engineering and maintenance contracts.
• Ability to analyse contract performance data and drive improvements.
• Strong understanding of financial, commercial and risk management principles.
• Proven ability to negotiate terms and justify commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of high-value operational contracts from strategy to renewal.
• Develop contract strategies that maximise value and mitigate risk.
• Manage competitive tenders, evaluate submissions and lead negotiations.
• Maintain contract records in SAP and provide commercial insights for cost control.
