Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Principal Consultant specialising as a Common Data Environment (CDE) Lead to join our team. You will work with a highly skilled team delivering information management from strategy level to project level for global clients.

The role requires 5+ years in CDE/Information Management, solid BIM understanding, and the ability to mentor CDE Managers and Document Controllers. ISO 19650 knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably educated to degree level.
• 5+ years in Information Manager/CDE roles.
• Experience with BIM in Information Management/Document Control.
• Understanding ISO 19650 standards (Part 2).
• Experience developing Information Standards, BEPs and AIR/EIR.

Responsibilities

• Complex Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to enable effective operation and drive adoption of the CDE. Engage with third party suppliers to align with wider enterprise systems architecture.
• CDE configuration: Lead the development, configuration and implementation of Common Data Environments aligned to client requirements and ISO 19650 best practice. This includes folder structures, metadata, workflows and access control.
• Change Control: Establish and manage CDE configuration processes that support robust change control and governance.
• Information Standards: Produce project or programme Information Standards, detailing the Information Management and CDE requirements.
• Reporting: Develop and deliver programme-wide reporting and analytics on CDE usage, with a focus on data accuracy, completeness and performance.
• Delivery: Oversee day-to-day management and operation of the CDE and drive continuous improvement through identifying opportunities to enhance the CDE capability. Provide line management and support to CDE Managers and Document Controllers.
• Training and guidance: Organise and undertake regular training sessions on the purpose and use of the system for new users and refresher training for existing users.
