Job summary

NRL Recruitment is seeking a CCTV Design Engineer based in Derby to join a reputable security solutions provider. You will conduct site surveys, design CCTV layouts, specify cameras and recording systems, and prepare design packs for installation teams.

You will interpret client requirements into practical, compliant designs, support installation and commissioning, and contribute to design reviews while maintaining project records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CCTV system design.
• Competent user of AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of camera selection, coverage calculations, recording systems, and network integration.
• Ability to interpret client requirements into compliant, practical solutions.
• Experience supporting installation teams and commissioning.

Location and Working Pattern

• Based in Derby
• Full-time, 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday
