Darlington Borough Council is seeking a CCTV & Security Control Centre Manager to lead security and monitoring services. You will act as SPOC for surveillance matters, manage CCTV operations, and drive governance, policy, and system development across the authority.

The role requires CCTV/security control room experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of data protection and surveillance legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience in CCTV, security or control room management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Sound understanding of surveillance camera legislation, governance and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CCTV operations and control centre daily.
• Lead on budget and contract management and policy development.
• Governance and compliance of CCTV systems across the authority.
• Develop, install and maintain CCTV systems to high standards.
• Act as SPOC for surveillance camera matters and liaise with partners.
