Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting CCTV Operators (Enforcement) on a casual worker basis. Shifts available six days a week, 7:00–20:30, with potential full-time hours by discussion at interview. Responsibilities include analysing enforcement data, inputting information, and conducting pre-shift equipment checks.

You will maintain records and report defects while acting as a council ambassador. The role requires a flexible approach to hours and being able to work in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre-shift equipment checks and test camera functionality
  • Maintain records to ensure smooth operation and provide audit information
  • Report defects with signs or lines and ensure cameras and parking equipment work correctly
  • Act as ambassadors for the Council and undertake other tasks as directed

About The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking to recruit CCTV Operators (Enforcement) to join our team on a casual worker basis. This is a casual worker position on a shift basis working 6 days out of 7 from Monday to Saturday. The earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish is 8.30pm. Full time hours are also available; if shortlisted for an interview please discuss availability during the interview.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • A nalysing enforcement data, by identifying potential contraventions and initiating the process for issuing a penalty charge notice by inputting and processing of data and images on the processing system.
  • C arry out pre shift e quipment checks and test the functionality of the cameras.

Maintain records as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the operation and to provide audit information.

  • Report any defects with signs or lines
  • Ensure parking equipment is working correctly and report defects promptly
  • Act as ambassadors for the Council, undertaking any others tasks as directed
To be successful in the role you will need:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous customer service experience in a demanding environment such as a hospitality or call centre environment (desirable)
  • The ability to follow instructions and to work within a closely managed operation
  • A flexible approach to working hours
