Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is hiring for a role supporting the Sapphire Utility Solutions division in Leyland. You will assess CCTV footage on site and ensure accurate cross‑checking across platforms, contributing to our reactive and planned maintenance work.

The role requires clear communication with site supervisors and clients. Working hours are 42.5 per week, 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £29,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and proficient with common software.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and site teams.
• Ability to liaise with site supervisors and management on survey matters.
• Experience using Map16 or Vapar systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review CCTV surveys and update relevant systems.
• Update project progress using Excel spreadsheets.
• Upload surveys and reports to Map16 and Wincan.
• Ensure site findings are accurately mapped in records.
• Coordinate with site teams to resolve survey issues.
• Respond to queries from clients and site teams.

Department:

Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group Company specialise in multiple divisions.
United Utilities operates across a number of contracts across our business, predominantly wastewater network services as part of the AMP 7 period plan. The Team support reactive and planned maintenance across the CCTV & Jetting and Civils teams, further supported by our in house Traffic Management Division and Capital Projects covering the entire UU network.

Hours:

42.5 hours per week, 07.30am-16:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary:

£29,000 per annum

Purpose of the role:

To assess the footage from the CCTV teams on site and update relevant platforms and departments. To crosscheck the Map16 platform upload the CCTV footage and wincan reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing CCTV surveys to update systems


• Updating the progress of works via excel documents


• Updating Map16 with surveys and wincan reports


• Ensuring the comments and mapping reflects the findings from site


• Liaise with Site supervisors with any survey specific issues and update records accordingly


• Liaise with site teams regarding any queries with work completed

Key Requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Computer Literate


• Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively, particularly to external parties such as the client if and when required


• Ability and confidence to communicate with site teams and management


• Using systems – ideally Map16, Vapar
