Mitie Group plc. is seeking a reliable CCTV Controller to monitor a busy shopping centre in Croydon. The role offers £15.30 per hour with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, and responsibilities include operating CCTV systems, reporting, and liaison with emergency services.

The ideal candidate will have CCTV experience, a valid CCTV license, and strong IT skills, with the ability to work well in a team or alone and maintain high security standards.

Qualifications

• Retail security experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and operating the site CCTV systems including associated reports.
• Respond to emergency situations and liaise with emergency services.
• Reporting and documentation including detailed handovers.
• Report on SLA/KPI compliance and contract requirements.
• Operate client and company procedures and processes.
• Manage fire alarm tests, monitoring and evacuation procedures.
• Attend and participate in required meetings.
• Defect reporting and follow-up actions.
• Maintain site security standards for access/egress and visitor regulation.
• Respond to requests and resolve issues within SLA timeframes.
