SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team involved in complex, critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Conduct planned and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
4. Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is desirable.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
