Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site, London, UK)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions that impact critical infrastructure. Be part of a high-performing team tackling complex work that contributes to national safety and connectivity.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain SISS assets and ensure station communication faults are reported and resolved.
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates.
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in network rail health & safety procedures or similar roles is advantageous.

Key Requirements:
  • Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
