Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending scheduled, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning, joining a team of experienced technicians. The Level 4 Technician should have experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
