Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Chef to provide cover across Hampshire, from Basingstoke to Portsmouth. The role is term-time only, with no weekends, offering flexibility. You will be mobile-driven and need your own transport to travel between sites.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, manage inventories and support budgets and action plans to help service excellence.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef to provide cover in the area of Hampshire covering from Basingstoke to Portsmouth to support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £16.00per hour + mileage
• 37.5hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
