Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a mobile-based Chef to cover sites in Oxfordshire. The role is term-time only with no weekends and requires own transport.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink standards, ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed, and maintain inventories and budgets to support site operations. A DBS disclosure is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking to standards for school clients.
• Willingness to work term-time only.
• Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef to provide cover in the area of Oxfordshireto support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £14.00per hour
• 30hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
