Job summary

Caterlink in Portsmouth is seeking a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to support our site-based teams. This term-time only role has no weekends and requires you to have your own transport as the role is mobile across locations.

You will cook to the standards required, manage health and safety, supervise staff, monitor inventories and budgets, and ensure exceptional food service for pupils and staff. The position pays £13.52 per hour, with 30 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, offering a steady

Job Description

We are hiring for a Relief Chef/Catering Manager to provide cover in the area of Portsmouthto support our existing site-based teams This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £13.52per hour
• 30hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – working 39weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that our locations meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
