Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef to provide cover in Oxfordshire. The role is term-time only with no weekends and requires own transport for a mobile position. You will work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £14.00 per hour, supporting school sites across Oxfordshire.

The role involves food preparation to high standards, adherence to food safety and health and safety procedures, and helping manage inventories and budgets while delivering excellent service to pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for school environments.

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef to provide cover in the area of Oxfordshireto support our existing site-based teams. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

This role will be a mobile-based role so you will therefore need to have your own transport.

The role:

• £14.00per hour
• 30hours per week working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
