Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Coop Belle Vue Academy to ensure nutritionally balanced and tasty food for pupils and staff. This term-time only role has no weekends and offers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will prepare, cook and present meals to Caterlink and client standards, while following Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures and completing mandatory paperwork with integrity. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role and Caterlink is committed to safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience in catering kitchen operations.
• Ability to prepare and present meals to standard required by Caterlink and client.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans

Job Description

We are hiring for a Chef at Coop Belle Vue Academywho wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £14.00per hour
• 25 hours per week working Monday - Friday
• Term-time only - working 38weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
