Park Holidays UK is seeking a Catering Team Member to join our busy kitchen. You will assist with meal preparation, help maintain high standards of food service, and keep the kitchen clean and organised.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen is preferred but not essential.
• Understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures, with a commitment to hygiene.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team, contributing to a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals under the guidance of the kitchen team, ensuring dishes meet quality standards.
• Help with chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and organising food stations for a smooth cooking process.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including surfaces, floors and storage.
• Follow food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage and labelling to prevent contamination.
• Assist in dishwashing and cleaning kitchen utensils, equipment and dishes, ensuring items are sanitised.
• Provide general support to kitchen staff, including inventory management and unpacking deliveries.
