Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis, contracted to 17.5 hours per week. The role focuses on delivering exceptional food and world-class customer service within Defence environments.

You’ll supervise kitchens and service counters, lead from the front, train teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure Health & Safety standards are met. Evening shifts pattern applies, with 50.2 weeks per year commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience leading teams in a similar role.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards.
