Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations for Defence on a part-time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. The role involves ensuring kitchens and counters run smoothly and delivering exceptional food experiences.

You will lead teams, monitor KPIs, and uphold Health & Safety standards while representing the brand across military and government sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
