Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland, operating at Royal Victoria Hospital, invites applications for a Catering Supervisor.

You will oversee catering services for patients, staff and visitors, ensure HACCP and COSHH compliance, and lead a team. Hours are 36 per week across 5 days from early shift; shifts 7am to 7pm; weekend enhancements apply.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Supervisor to work within the kitchen at Royal Victoria Hospital. You are required to deliver a high standard of Catering Services within the Hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Applicants must have a working knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety & COSHH procedures. Previous experience in a Catering environment at a supervisory level is essential, as is a good knowledge of work procedures, practices & equipment through a combination of experience and professional qualifications.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 36 hours per week, 5 days from 7.
