Job description

As Catering Supervisor, your core task is to support the Catering Manager in the smooth running of the kitchen.

Role Responsibility

• Supporting with the management of the team to ensure a fantastic dining experience for students and staff
• Support in the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals of the highest quality, using our fresh and sustainable ingredients
• Assisting the Catering Manager in providing support and guidance to the team
• Building positive relationships with clients and customers
• Assisting the catering manager in ordering and stock take
• Ensuring full compliance with Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Allergens

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for somebody who shares our passion for maintaining the highest standards of food and service for our customers along with the following:

• A natural positive leader who can demonstrate great teamwork
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Previous experience in leading a team (preferred)
• Sound knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a kitchen
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred, but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate)
