Job summary

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Catering/Retail Team Member on a zero hours bank basis. Shifts run from 6am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday, across multiple outlets, with enhanced pay after 8pm and on weekends.

You will be the face of our catering and retail service, delivering excellent customer care, handling basic food prep, stock, and keeping areas ready for business, while working as part of a diverse DSFS team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to undertake
• GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English
• Good knowledge of Food safety
• Experience in a similar role with peak service times

Responsibilities

• Work across all catering and retail outlets
• Serve customers, basic food preparation, cleaning, keep areas ready for business
• Stock food and beverage areas
• Complete regular day-to-day activities to ensure smooth operation
• Take a flexible approach and demonstrate strong behaviours with colleagues and customers
