Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Catering Stores Assistant at Rampton Hospital. The role supports the Catering Team by maintaining stock levels and ordering provisions to ensure high-quality meals for patients, staff and visitors.

Hours are 10am to 6pm, weekends and bank holidays included. Prior NHS catering experience is desirable, with full training provided. A High Secure Staff Allowance of £2,000 applies to this post.

Qualifications

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills required.
• Flexible in managing own time and work duties.
• Performance focused with ability to operate within agreed performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels and order food/provisions as necessary.
• Ensure stock received meets Health and Safety standards.
• Liaise with suppliers as necessary.
• Support Catering Department to provide high-quality food for patients, staff and visitors.
