John Lewis Partnership based at Herbert Parkinson, Harvest Mill in Darwen, Lancashire, is seeking a Catering Assistant for a permanent, full-time role. You will work a 38.75-hour week across Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, in our partner dining rooms, providing great service to fellow Partners.

Night premium applies for hours between 22:00 and 06:00 (£3.75 per hour). The role includes stock replenishment, food safety compliance, and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Previous catering experience.
• Experience in customer facing environment.

Responsabilités

• Work as a team to ensure a smooth catering service.
• Provide positive Partner interactions with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Follow Health and Safety at Work Act and Food Safety Act when completing tasks.
• Ensure stock is replenished and available for our customers.
• Reduce food wastage by rotating food stock with care.
• Resolve issues promptly using initiative.
• Maintain personal hygiene standards.
