Job summary

John Lewis & Partners is seeking a dedicated cleaner for Herbert Parkinson in Darwen. The role involves maintaining high hygiene standards across the branch, including toilets, offices and dining areas, with a 3pm–5pm, Monday–Friday schedule. Training will be provided where needed, and DBS checks may be required for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience or training will be provided if needed.
• Able to work independently as well as with others.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the branch and surroundings.
• Clean and stock toilets, offices, dining area, and common spaces.
• Follow rota and ensure waste and recycling are managed properly.
• Keep meeting rooms stocked and equipment ready for use.
• Ensure glass and mirrors are clean throughout the branch.
