Sodexo Group at HMP Addiewell is looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead a high-volume kitchen operation serving staff and prisoners. You’ll drive operational excellence, manage budgets, and develop a skilled catering team while ensuring food safety and quality across all services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a catering team in high-volume operations.
• Proven budget and P&L management experience.
• Relevant catering qualification (BSc Catering, NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the catering team, including recruitment, induction, coaching and performance management.
• Oversee the main kitchen and wing-based serveries.
• Manage budgets, purchasing, stock control and financial performance.
• Ensure HACCP, food safety, health & safety compliance.
• Plan nutritious menus meeting dietary requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits and implement action plans.
• Build relationships with clients, customers and partners.
• Manage catering for functions and special dietary needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve service and value.
• Support prisoner work groups by providing catering skills and qualifications.
