Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Bedford is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead the catering team across the onsite dining and hospitality facilities. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure high standards of food quality and service, and control the location's budget under the guidance of the Operations Manager.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with clients, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while developing offerings in line with market trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of delivering excellent food standards.
• Experience leading catering teams and service across a site.
• Strong budgetary and financial reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the catering team in daily production and service for member and staff dining facilities across the site.
• Deliver client and company budgets and develop offers in line with client expectations.
• Develop the food offer to meet market trends while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Prepare and report monthly and annual Profit & Loss statements for Thomas Franks.
• Ensure day-to-day operations of all catering facilities year-round and motivate staff.
