Aramark UK is recruiting for an Assistant Group Manager to join our team in Headington, Oxford. You will lead catering operations, develop teams, and maintain outstanding service standards for multiple sites.

You'll report to the Group Manager, drive client relationships, manage budgets and ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety. This is a hands-on leadership role offering a clear path for progression in a global hospitality organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering or hospitality management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A customer-focused approach with a passion for service excellence.
• Good financial awareness and experience managing budgets or costs.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and operational compliance.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to support multiple locations when required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group Manager with day-to-day catering operations.
• Lead and motivate teams to deliver outstanding food and customer service.
• Assist with operational planning and ensuring service delivery meets client expectations.
• Support recruitment, training, development, and performance management of team members.
• Monitor food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with budget management, stock control, and cost efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of business objectives and continuous improvement plans.
• Providing management cover in the absence of the Group Manager.
