Job summary

Eurest is recruiting a Catering Manager to lead the on-site catering operation at Virgin Media O2 in Sheffield. The role focuses on delivering excellent food, service, and a high-performing operation with strong client relationships.

You'll manage the team, oversee stock, safety (HACCP, Natasha’s Law) and GP performance, while shaping the weekly menu and ensuring top customer experience in a busy call-centre environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Catering Manager within a B&I contract catering environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with GP target experience.
• Proven experience managing and developing a catering team.
• Confidence building relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of stock, purchasing and wastage control.
• Experience managing ordering and menu planning.
• Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Natasha’s Law and allergen management.
• Knowledge of manual handling and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on, collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site catering team and operations.
• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day operation and service levels.
• Oversee HSE, HR, Profit Protection, PCI, and food safety compliance.
• Monitor GP performance with a 40% target.
• Plan weekly menus and manage stock, purchases and wastage.
• Ensure Nexus accounts accuracy through stock takes.
• Drive customer satisfaction measures including the 'Did We Smile' metric.
• Maintain daily HSE standards and food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Compass and client to improve food offer.
