Job summary

Eurest at Virgin Media in Manchester is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen, delivering high-quality food and a superb customer experience. This is a Monday–Friday role on a fantastic site with clear leadership responsibilities.

You will own day-to-day kitchen operations, manage the team, control stock, and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and food hygiene standards while driving improvements to the offering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with leadership responsibility.
• Experience in busy catering, hospitality or contract catering environments.
• Passion for producing great food and delivering excellent service.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; good organisation and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and direct preparation and cooking of food.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding food offer.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Work with menus and promotions to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with suppliers, purchasing processes and COSHH/health & safety.
