Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the on-site team delivering world class food and service for our client and customers. This full-time role runs 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with public holidays off, and requires strong leadership and a focus on safety and quality.

You will recruit and motivate staff, drive guest satisfaction, manage budgets, and build trusted client relationships while promoting sustainability and Net Zero commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years catering management experience.
• Experience recruiting, leading and developing teams.
• Strong communication and health & safety knowledge.
• Track record of managing a P&L and delivering results.

• Support the client with quality delivery of food & hospitality services for the onsite tenants

You will work with the onsite team and other leaders across our business. This is full time contract, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with public holidays off.

About You

Essential

• Experience of recruiting, leading, managing and developing winning teams
• Minimum 2 years catering management experience
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of HSE in food environment,
• Track record of managing a P&L and delivering results

Desirable

• Experience in a similar environment
• Management qualification
• Chef qualifications or experience
• Hospitality experience
• Knowledge & competence of IT programmes & applications
