Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Catering Manager to lead a onsite team and deliver world class food and service for clients and customers. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with public holidays off.

You will motivate the team, collaborate with onsite leadership, and ensure exceptional standards across food, service, and safety. You will drive client relationships, manage budgets, and contribute to Sales and promotions while maintaining health & safety and

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, leading, managing and developing winning teams.
• Minimum 2 years catering management experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of HSE in food environment.
• Track record of managing a P&L and delivering results.

Job description

As a Catering Manager, you will lead the team to deliver world class food & service for our clients and customers. You will be the motivation and guidance for your team for daily activities. You will work with the onsite team and other leaders across our business. This is full time contract, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with public holidays off.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and lead the preparation and presentation of all food, barista coffee, and hospitality services to the highest of standards and in line with the contract specification
• Support the client with quality delivery of food & hospitality services for the onsite tenants
• Recruit, lead, develop motivate and manage the team to deliver superior food and service
• Develop solid and trusted client relationships
• Drive sales through effective marketing, promotions
• Manage the service within the budget and financial targets
• Manage all aspects of health & safety and food safety
• Manage food wastage and commitments to Net Zero commitments

About You

Essential

• Experience of recruiting, leading, managing and developing winning teams
