Houston & Hawkes is seeking a friendly Catering General Assistant for a client site in Epsom. The role involves supporting both kitchen and front-of-house duties, including food preparation, serving customers and handling till payments.

The successful candidate will join a supportive catering team, work Monday to Friday, and contribute to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Friendly, confident approach to customer service.
• Willingness to help with basic food preparation.
• Able to work flexibly and maintain cleanliness and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen and front-of-house with food prep and service.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
• Operate the till and process payments accurately.
• Support table service and clear tables during service.
• Restock items and maintain clean, welcoming service areas.
• Assist with stock rotation and display of products.
