Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a reliable and proactive General Assistant / Store Person to support our Heathrow catering operation. You will receive deliveries, check notes, store stock correctly, rotate stock, and help move stock around the site while supporting chefs.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, a pension, life assurance, online GP access, and career progression in a busy, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, catering, logistics or stock control is desirable.
• Ability to lift and move boxes containing dry and frozen goods safely.
• Good numerical skills with the ability to count stock and identify discrepancies.
• Strong organisational skills and a reliable, proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries and checking orders against delivery notes.
• Storing stock correctly and ensuring stock rotation procedures are followed.
• Delivering stock and supplies to the appropriate areas across the site.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation duties as required.
• Counting and controlling stock, investigating discrepancies and reporting shortages.
• Checking invoices and noting any shortages, damages, or issues with deliveries.
• Moving cages, boxes, and stock safely around the operation.
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organised storage areas.
• Adhering to site security procedures and stock control processes.
• Supporting the wider catering team with day-to-day operational requirements.
