Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a Catering/Facilities Supervisor to lead the Facilities staff across patient dining, retail catering, cleaning, waste, portering, security, switchboard, linen and post. You will coordinate duties in a two-week rota and oversee ward meal orders, stock control and team scheduling.

You will drive quality initiatives, ensure service excellence, and liaise with wards to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead ward catering assistants to ensure shifts run efficiently.
• Coordinate staff allocation within the Department and cover duties via flexible staffing.
• Drive quality initiatives and ensure adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
• Liaise with hospital wards and patients as part of the Department's quality initiatives.
