Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support operations in Healthcare on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You will contribute to high facility standards, support the facilities team, and help maintain a safe, clean site while upholding the company’s brand image across NHS Trusts and private hospitals.

The role involves minor repairs, exterior upkeep, and coordinating with contractors, with shifts Mon-Fri days.

• Experience in a facilities/maintenance role is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain exterior site cleanliness and general repairs.
• Assist with contractor sign-in/out and site policy adherence.
• Open/close the building as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold brand image.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

As a Facilities Assistant, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of facility management with the wider facilities team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
