Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland’s Medirest is seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor for healthcare operations on a part-time basis (22 hours per week). You will supervise deliveries, stock control, rotas and frontline staff while ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience in similar settings, strong customer service skills, and the ability to stay positive under pressure while promoting a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise frontline team, foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Serve as responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as required.
• Create weekly rotas per manager's guidelines.
• Place stock orders to maintain correct levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Ensure food handling & hygiene standards.
• Follow health & safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 22 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our ideal Facilities Supervisor will:

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
