Job summary

Essentia Solutions Group is seeking a commercial catering engineer to cover sites in Manchester and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and repair catering equipment including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and refrigeration units where qualified, with travel to London for training when required.

You will diagnose faults using schematics and manufacturer manuals, install new appliances, and keep detailed service records.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial catering equipment.
• Familiarity with ovens, dishwashers, and refrigeration equipment is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within Manchester and the North West; occasional London training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on commercial catering equipment.
• Diagnose faults using schematics and manuals.
• Install new appliances and upgrade systems per project specifications.
• Maintain detailed service records with parts used and time spent.
